"Runs narrow. Long break in period. Takes about 4 weeks. Nice and stable. The green is pretty. Dry fast when caught in the rain. The v3 is not a bad shoe for the price. NB can do better."

Great step up from an older version

"Felt very good right out of the box. Fit is perfect, just like their older brothers, the 860V2. Weight is not bad, but, at 200lbs, a shoe that is a little lighter or a little heavier is not going to make a huge difference.
Lacing is good, and fits well on the fit. The toebox feels roomy enough, and not tight.
First run was a 6 miler, on a mixture of pavement, concrete and trails. The shoes performed quite well. The 870's, which these replaced, felt flat, and not well cushioned. The 860v3 feels just right in both the stiffness and cushioning department.
Good start, expect good results as I continue with these. Will be taking these to Singapore for a month of work. Will run with them...more reports as time goes by.
Also..stats...I'm 5'7, weigh about 205lbs, and log between 15 to 20 miles per week. Finished a half marathon in my 860v2's..training for my first marathon now"
Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent shoes

"These are one of the best shoes I have ever worn. They have good stability and support. The arch support is a little on the low side which I prefer since I have low arches and don't like arch support poking me in the arch. The heel support is great, probably the best I have ever seen in any shoe. I don't run, I just use them for walking around. They were a little stiff at first but after about 3 days they became very comfortable and made my knees and my back feel a lot better which is more than I ever could have hoped for from a shoe. Highly recommended."

"This is the first time I have actually been fitted for a running shoe. I am very glad that I was fitted for this shoe. I had been doing small runs in a shoe that seemed like a good shoe. Once I visited an actual Running Shoe Store and spoke with the experts, I found out what I had been running in was not a running shoe at all. I am very pleased with this shoe. It is very comfortable and light and has made a big difference with the impact my knees take from the pavement."
Yes, I recommend this product.

"I ordered a pair of the 860 an although I only run 1 or 2 miles a day after two days I changed out of these. The box toe is very narrow and they run 1 to 2 sizes small. I am very disappointed I have used New Balance for years."

"I feel compelled to start off by stating I am a 10+ year runner who averages 20+ miles per week. During the majority of this time I have been a fan of New Balance. Unfortunately, the latest version of the 860, the V3, falls short of previous versions. It feels over padded and slow. In addition, the toe box feels very cramped and the break in period seemed exceeding long. I see it as a downgrade from the previous version and I am very much looking forward to the release of a new version."
No, I do not recommend this product.
