" NB used to sell their shoes by last but that info is now hidden. You can search for it if you know what you are looking for. I bought these to replace an older shoe, last SL-1, and these are the supposed replacement. However, I had to go up a half-size (10 to 10 1/2) in 4E because these shoes are narrower and shorter than the previous SL-1 shoes. Also, others have commented - the tongue is 1/4 to 3/8" too short and the tongue is not sewn straight in the shoe but always sits off to the outside.
NB is changing - not the American made shoe anymore. "
No, I do not recommend this product.

Would Purchase Again
" I have purchased both the black and the white/gray versions. The mesh on the lighter color gets dirty really easily, but can usually be cleaned. These were recommended by the guy who made my orthotics. They are very comfortable for walking and medium-level hiking. Unfortunately, the mesh on top isn't as durable as the surrounding leather, so it tends to wear out much earlier than the rest of the shoe. I would give 5 stars for comfort, but 3 stars for durability. "
Yes, I recommend this product.
